From the bright lights of Rent, Hairspray, and The Lion King to the creative pulse of television and film, Racquel Roberts has built a career defined by emotional truth and storytelling.
Between stage and screen
After years of performing under the lights of Broadway, with Grammy-nominated vocal sensation Brownstone during their comeback, and with stellar bands across Los Angeles, Racquel transitioned into studio recording — carving a lane as an in-demand online session vocalist and producer. Since 2007 she has recorded, arranged, and engineered vocals for thousands of songs through her online vocal service.
A true chameleon of style, her voice moves across soulful pop and R&B, funk, rock, and killer vocal ballads. Spanish is her strongest second language. This era of global, genre-blending work became the bridge between theatrical roots and her current passion: emotionally evocative music for film and television.

Today Racquel channels years of vocal mastery and storytelling into music for television, film, and visual media. Her performances — rich with emotion, tone, and cinematic depth — are a natural fit for sync, where songs bring scenes to life and amplify the heart of a story.
As a songwriter she doesn’t shy away from challenging the status quo. Lyrics often carry an unexpected edge — raw, reflective, and rooted in truth — written through the lens of the underdog and the experience of women stepping into their power.

Hi, I’m Racquel. I’m a devoted wife, Mama Bear of two, an advocate for women and child survivors of sexual abuse, and founder and CEO of Sonic Tonic Music International. I am passionate about making inspired music with gifted artists from around the world, and I’m endlessly grateful for the internet — it has connected me with so many wonderful musical companions, including you.
When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me hanging with my kids and my brilliant husband, running miles with my dog Sweetie, or crocheting something cozy on the couch. I love tending my garden, sneaking away to the mountains, getting lost in a good (audio)book, and fueling my radiance through pole dance — my favorite blend of strength and grace.

A portion of proceeds from music sales supportsChildMolestationPrevention.org, a national, science-based nonprofit that conducts research to prevent child sexual abuse and provides information to prevention organizations, agencies, professionals, and families.
